Fresh bakery pumpernickel rye bread

Every Saturday as a kid, the family sent me to the local bakery to purchase rye and pumpernickel breads to toast for breakfast and enjoy for sandwiches during the weekend. I looked forward to smelling the freshly baked bread that greeted me every Saturday & made me happy. In this specific candle, I get the spices in freshly baked rye bread, specifically caraway seeds. It's uncanny! I don't get any sweetness from milk, butter, no cinnamon or nutmeg, nor praline. This is savory, zesty bakery bread. Even non-gourmand fans like me can enjoy this medley. The wax does get slightly murky if burned for several hours. The throw is high; it's a 9-10 and can be smelled on both floors of an open concept home; yet it is happily not overbearing. This candle may be best enjoyed by fresh bakery bread enthusiasts.

Delicious!!

This is a Carb lovers dream! It's a crusty, savory artisan bread with lots of butter. It's comforting and delicious. The throw is a 7.5 --8 in a hurricane. I plan to order another one during the Fall Reserve launch.

Artisanal Bakery!

Sweet and Savory lives up to its name! So much more complex than any other bread candle, there are hints of molasses, and sesame seeds along with a crusty scent of rye or pumpernickel. If you crave the scent of an artisanal bakery with all the yummiest breads fresh from the oven, this is the scent for you. This candle was strong in my semi-closed living room, between an 8 and a 9, with a 9 throw. I loved it so much, I bought a second one!

Sweet & Savory

Sweet & Savory is a melange of various breads, similar to walking into an artisanal bakery. Its delicious, ever-changing fragrance alternates between nuances of sweet pumpernickel, aromatic rye, sesame buns, and sourdough. Reminiscent of a wood fire bread oven, its ****** baked bread undertone has a touch of smoke and some sweet praline, while a mild pat of butter caps the fragrance for additional savoriness. This is wonderfully complex, and the throw (8.5 on all burns) fills the room with a warm and cozy fragrance.

Sweet & Savory for the 2nd time!

My experience with this candle both times was amazing. Both the strength and throw of this scent is a solid 7. Whenever I put this under my lamp it literally brings comfort to me. So worth it.
